The Litaker Group Supports Local Health Department Planning Efforts

Since 2004 the Litaker Group has been providing professional services and expertise in public health emergency preparedness.

From the Katrina and Rita statewide after action review and H1N1 project team as an embedded member of the state health department to West Nile Virus assessment to medical countermeasure operational readiness review, the Litaker Group has demonstrated expertise in assessment, exercises, and plan development.

• In 2016 the Litaker Group has worked with local health departments in Texas to create plans to address Isolation and Quarantine, Fatality Management, Infectious Disease Response.
• In 2015 and 2016 the Litaker Group developed and conducted six tabletop exercises on PHEP topics, conducted one functional exercise, and served as a planner and evaluator in a SNS POD full-scale exercise
